Daniel Gerrity (Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction), Brett Levner (Film) and a group of students collaborated to create about water conservation and reuse in Southern Nevada. Their project was funded by a grant from the the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Science to Achieve Results (STAR) program.
The project was integrated into Levner's course on documentary filmmaking (FIS 447). A cohort of film and engineering students worked closely with water professionals from the Clark County Water Reclamation District and the Southern Nevada Water Authority to produce the documentary, which takes a comedic approach to educating the public about the Las Vegas water cycle.
