Cicely Morgan and Rebecca Rogers (both Academic Enrichment and Outreach) recently presented at the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP) conference. Titled, "Collaboration Works: GEAR UP/TRIO Best Practices to Enhance College Readiness Programming," the interactive session allowed the presenters to share proven best practices and strategies from the TRIO/GEAR UP programs at UNLV's Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach with TRIO, GEAR UP, and other educational professionals. The session encouraged participants to identify a desired activity within their organization. They could plan an activity for the upcoming school year using the framework presented.
