Brookings Mountain West recently published two policy briefs authored by colleagues from the Brookings Institution. The first, titled "" explores the racial and ethnic achievement gaps, including teacher diversity, for Hispanic students within the Clark County School District. The second, titled "" examines work and work-based policy issues facing middle-class Americans in Las Vegas, Nevada using focus group data collected before the pandemic and discusses what lessons might be learned.
