Brenna Renn (Psychology) published two recent manuscripts focused on her line of work developing nonspecialist providers to deliver low-intensity behavioral interventions to expand access to treatment for common mental health disorders. The first, published in , detailed a pilot study to train bachelor-level students to deliver a brief depression intervention, and provides preliminary outcome and feasibility data testing the intervention with patient participants with depression. The second, published in , details multi-level stakeholder perspectives on developing such a role for the behavioral health workforce. This work was done in collaboration with colleagues from the University of Washington department of psychiatry and behavioral sciences.
