Brandon Williams (Chemistry and Biochemistry) and collaborators at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) published an article, in the Journal of Nuclear Materials. Williams is a first-year radiochemistry doctoral student.
The research is a result of a project funded through funded by the National Nuclear Security Administration Minority Serving Institution Partnership Program. The program, a consortium between UNLV, UTSA, and St. Mary's University, is designed to build a pipeline between Department of Energy sites and labs and minority-serving institutions in STEM disciplines.
