Boran Kim, Jungsun (Sunny) Kim, Ashok Singh, Mehmet Erdem (all Hospitality) and Andrew Hardin (Business) have published their study titled, "," in the International Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Administration. The study explored factors influencing guests’ hotel recommendations during two periods: before the shutdown of hotels due to COVID-19 and after the reopening of hotels. The findings indicated that the value factor had the most significant effect during both periods. Hotel managers can utilize the findings to create new strategies to attract guests and allocate resources to better address guests’ evolving expectations.
