(Political Science) was invited to publish a book chapter, "Qualitative and Quantitative Changes of Taiwan Studies in the political science discipline (1987-2022)", in the book edited by Wu et al and published by Academia Sinica, Taiwan. In the book chapter, Wang collected all Taiwan-related articles in leading political science journals between 1987 and 2022, and analyzed the trend of Taiwan-related studies in these journals. Wang noticed that Taiwan gradually shifted its role from a "data point" in the large-scale cross-country analyses in the past to important cases in recent works.
