Asma Awan (Social and Behavioral Health), Kara Radzak (Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences), & Manoj Sharma (Social and Behavioral Health), presented a paper titled, "A Theory-Based Approach to Explain the Correlates of Safe Physical Activity in Pregnant and Postpartum Individuals," at the held in St. Louis. The paper highlighted the utilization of Multi-theory Model (MTM) of behavioral change to asses the multi-faceted barriers to pregnancy-related and postpartum physical activity and lack of knowledge on safe physical activity practices in pregnant and postpartum individuals in Clark County. Sharma is the originator of the Multi-theory Model (MTM) of behavioral change.
