Arpine Mkrtchyan (World Languages and Cultures) published a book, with the Presses Académiques Francophones.
It is a linguistic guideline for French language learners and master’s degree students. The book presents linguistic manifestations of intercultural stereotypes in poetic translations revealed through componential analyzes. The intertextual author and reader in intercultural communication can be viewed and studied through manifestations of otherness and identity. The manifestations of others' culture might be perceived as unexpected and alien. In perceiving others' culture, the intercultural stereotypes are inevitable. The objective of this study is to discover the connotative divergences in translation which contribute to the generation of intercultural stereotypes. The componential analyzes of poetic translations provide bases to recognize the culture of others.
