Angelyn Talbalba, Lisamarie Tomassetti, Bailey Udin and Natasha White of the Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary wrote the winning bid for the from the Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls at the association’s annual business conference held at Boise State University in Idaho.
The award recognizes the growth of NRHH chapters over a one-year period time while advancing the values of service and recognition on their campuses. This past year, the chapter increased its outreach by volunteering at the Animal Foundation and held an Honor Roll recognition program for the 900-plus students living on campus who have earned a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
The award is voted on by student leaders from Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The UNLV NRHH chapter was founded in 1996 and this is their third time receiving this award at a regional level.
As this year's regional nominee from the intermountain region, NRHH"s bid now will compete against seven other award nominees from the different geographic regions of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls at the annual conference that will take place at Arizona State University-Tempe in May.
