Amy Bouchard and Chad Warren (both Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement) were awarded the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Pinnacle Award for their work with the UNLV Alumni Association at a ceremony held this week. They won in the category for Tactics: Best Usage of Data/Analytics for the UNLV Alumni Attitude Survey from 2017. This category focuses on how the project uncovered hidden patterns, correlations, or other insights to help make quicker and more efficient business decisions to gain a competitive edge.
The survey was an instrument designed to uncover the thoughts and feelings of UNLV's graduates about their alma mater and benchmark those results to our peers as well as to UNLV's 2007 survey. The results were used to rewrite the Alumni Association's strategic plan, implement new programming, and eliminate programming no longer relevant to alumni.
Created in 1996, the Pinnacle Awards recognize the best public relations programs, tools, and professionals in Southern Nevada, Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah. The awards are judged by out-of-market, accredited members of PRSA and are open to chapter members and non-members alike. is available online.
Bouchard earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the PRSA in 2011.
