Aldo M. Barrita (Psychology) was awarded the funded by the Mellon Foundation. This fellowship provides an annual stipend, along with resources and training to enhance research focused on Latinx communities exploring and reimagining comparative frameworks that move beyond the single-nationality paradigm. Thirty-two institutions nationwide participate in this program annually and Barrita will be representing UNLV this upcoming year.
