Aldo Barrita (Psychology) was a recipient of at the 2020 conference for the National Latinx Psychological Association (NLPA). This honor is awarded to individuals or groups who have been selected by NLPA’s president for their efforts to advance NLPA’s mission and outstanding service to the association.
He also was co-chair at the conference for a roundtable and a research symposium discussion of gender diversity and barriers for trans and gender-expansive individuals within Latinx communities.
