Alberto de Salvatierra (Architecture), working in conjunction with undergraduate students David Douglas (Landscape Architecture), Carley Pasqualotto (Architecture), and Kyle Saca (Architecture), was selected as a finalist in the 8th Non Architecture Competition: Learning. Their design, which called for the redensification of UNLV's campus, also was exhibited earlier this year in "Learning: Alternative Designs for Universities," an exhibition at the Boiler House at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. "UniverCITY" also will be published in a forthcoming book by Non Architecture focused on alternative designs for universities.
