Description
Introduction to the quality of care in the U.S. healthcare system. Quality outcome measurement and the patient experience influences reporting and reimbursement. Focus on quality metric measurement as well as analyzing, managing, and improving population health outcomes. The course details conceptual bases of these approaches, their strengths, and their limitations. Crosslisted with HCA 631. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.Prerequisites
