Description
This course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and treat various process and co-occurring disorders. Emphasis will be placed on the history, philosophy, and trends of addiction counseling. In addition, current literature outlining theories, approaches, effective strategies, and techniques will be explored. This course is crosslisted with CED 620. Credit at the 600-level requires additional work.Prerequisites
