MFA Thesis Exhibition for Wendy Chambers
The paintings in Corporeality address the body in its most abject state, the corpse. The fragmented compositions of displaced organs, cut bone, torn muscle and fat presented by Chambers’ canvases offer accessibility through the practical act of looking.
