Description

Object Language is an exploration of linguistic communication manifested as sculpture. Linguistic communication - the use of words both written and spoken - is often assumed to be the most precise and predictable form of communication, however this is rarely the case as ambiguity and missed connections are sometimes unavoidable. Abstracting the process by which information moves from person to person Object Language glorifies the point at which language fails. It is an exploration of indicators hidden in plain sight, of coding systems, and of a way of communication that prioritizes the critical analysis of the message received.

Thaddeus Celia-Zoellner is a master's of fine art degree candidate at Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³».
