Description

on the fence:  Brandon Lacow MFA Thesis Exhibition

on the fence investigates perceptions of sexuality, domesticity and gender identity through the use of contrasting materials, yarn and fence lumber. Building domestic objects out of non-traditional materials allows the freedom to construct and contemplate the concept of an authentic home.

Brandon Lacow received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014, with an interdisciplinary emphasis in photography and sculpture. He is currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts degree at the Ê×Ò³| Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». He has exhibited his artwork in solo, group, and juried exhibitions throughout Nevada. His most recent exhibition, Out at Home, explored the conflicting realities of queer space and imagined traditionalism.

Gallery Hours: Mon - Fri., 9 to 5
