Overview
The William F. Harrah College of Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced International Program Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to our mission of expanding and strengthening our international programs. The International Program Coordinator will work closely with the Associate Dean of Research, International Program, and Graduate Affairs to develop and manage international partnerships, support and promote study abroad programs, and expand our global presence. Additionally, the role involves providing comprehensive support and communication to faculty and students engaged in international initiatives. The coordinator will be a temporary 12-month letter-of-appointment position.
Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Education, Hospitality, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred, from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The role also requires 3-5 years of experience in higher education administration focused on international education, along with proven skills in developing and managing international programs and partnerships. A strong understanding of global education trends, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
