We look forward to welcoming you to UNLV this fall! To help prepare for your arrival on campus please read the following information regarding parking permits.
Parking permits for the 2024-2025 academic year will go on sale August 5 through the . All students who park on campus are required to have a permit. Visit the Parking & Transportation Services website for a complete list of permit options and pricing.
The Parking Portal Instructions webpage has information about how to login to the system and complete your purchase. When purchasing your permit, be prepared with the following information:
- License plate number
- Vehicle information (make, model, year, and color) for all vehicles associated with the permit account
UNLV uses a virtual parking permit system which means your license plate is your permit. This makes it important that the license plate numbers listed in the parking portal are accurate. If you have a specialty plate with vertical letters preceding the numbers, be sure to include them.
License plates must be visible from the drive aisle when parked. If you prefer to back your car into a parking space and do not have a front license plate, you must display a parking decal. Parking decals cost $5.
Contact Parking & Transportation Services at parking@unlv.edu or 702-895-1300 with any questions or to purchase a parking decal.
