What has been your highlight as being part of AMA/IBA?

I recently got assigned as President of IBA earlier this semester so by far, it would have to be having dedicated board members. I'm grateful that my board members are willing to be led by me. If it wasn't for their support, I'd probably be overwhelmed.

What are your plans for the future? (Marketing, personal life, and academia)

In terms of IBA, I'd like to build a system that streamlines most, if not all, of our initiatives to ultimately create a bigger and more meaningful impact for our members. Personally, I will pursue financial freedom through methods that I genuinely enjoy. Academically, to graduate with invaluable lessons that I can apply in real-world situations.

What are some of your passions outside of your professional life?

To be honest, I'm more of a homebody myself and don't do much outside my professional life. I do enjoy walking our dog though.

Do you have any tips for creating a personal brand?

In terms of my personal brand, I simply do my best to stick to my authentic self and let it do its thing. With RSOs, know your organization's mission and values, then communicate it to your members, whether verbally or through your actions, so they can feel a sense of belonging. Through that, you'll build a unified identity that resonates with both current and prospective members, reinforcing your RSO's personal brand. That is how I'm going to build a personal brand for IBA.

How has your experience at UNLV been thus far?

It's been great. I wasn't born and raised in Vegas so I didn't really know anyone here prior. Ever since becoming a student at UNLV, I've met lots of amazing and interesting people on-campus. So far, I'm enjoying it to the fullest.
