Applications are now being accepted for the NSF CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program at UNLV for the 2025/2026 academic year.
A highly competitive scholarship for students pursuing degrees in the cybersecurity field, the program provides for full tuition and academic fees, in addition to an annual stipend for living expenses and a professional allowance. In return for the financial support, recipients must agree to work for the U.S. Government after graduation in a cybersecurity-related position, for a period equal to the length of the scholarship.
Now in its second year at UNLV, the program seeks to develop a superior cybersecurity workforce, specifically to meet the needs of Federal, State, local and tribal governments with a special emphasis on working for the federal executive branch of government.
All students pursuing or interested in pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at UNLV in computer science or cybersecurity with an emphasis in AI and machine learning should apply.
Complete eligibility requirements and a link to the application can be found at /program/cybersecurity/sfs-scholarship. Applications are being accepted now through February 15, 2025. There will be two review and acceptance periods, once at the end of December 2024, and the other after February 15, 2025.
