Brianna Vargas Zambrano, '14 BA Journalism and Media Studies, is a social media and public relations supervisor at Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. A Sigma Kappa while at UNLV, she enjoys aerial arts, writing, volunteering, yoga, hiking, and crafting. In 2015 she married Alex Zambrano, '15 BS Business Administration. They own two fur babies, Fiona and Smokey. The couple lives in North Las Vegas  

Jeffrey "JB" Rizzo, '96 BS Business Administration, is a certified public accountant. He and his professional team merged with an established Los Angeles CPA firm to form Frankel Reichman & Rizzo. It is a boutique forensic accounting firm providing business valuation, litigation, and mediation support in family law, civil litigation, fraud, and embezzlement matters. The firm also provides tax and accounting services to select clients.

Jordan Hollander, '16 LLM Gaming Law and Regulation, recently was hired as a deputy attorney general with the New Jersey department of law and public safety (office of the attorney general), Division of Gaming Enforcement, where he works in casino and employee licensing for casinos in Atlantic City. He lives in Branchburg, New Jersey.

Bryan Scott, '88 BS Business Administration, last year became the 88th and first African-American president of the State Bar of Nevada. An attorney for more than 25 years, he celebrated his 20th year with the Las Vegas city attorney's office in August 2016 and is currently the office's senior assistant city attorney. He practices in the areas of land use, zoning, and planning. 

Craig Michie, '92 BS Business Administration, '98 MBA, serves as the film & television employees - craft representative for working men and women in the film, motion picture & television industry in Southern Nevada for the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees - IATSE Local 720. He says that going to college was a big deal for him and that graduating was even more special. To celebrate that special event he chose to purchase a lifetime membership in the UNLV Alumni Association. He said he felt that after all of the effort and hard work, he wanted to have some kind of lasting element to signify the commitment he had made to his UNLV education and the focus on personal self-improvement.  

David Raanan, '13 MA Communication Studies, is a communications professional with his own company, . He says he has been fortunate to work with everyone from Lady Gaga to Floyd Mayweather and couldn't be more excited to join forces to flip commercial and residential properties with one of the most preeminent private real estate investors in New York and Florida. His hobbies include hiking Red Rock and Gold Strike Hot Springs, working out, playing tennis, and collecting quotes. 

Elissa Lafranconi, '16 BA Philosophy of Justice & Law, is program manager for the , which hosts a farmer's market starting at 9:30 a.m. the last Sunday of each month through June.

Janice Conway-Klaassen, '10 PhD Educational Psychology/Learning & Technology, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Association of Clinical Scientists. She lives in Minneapolis.

George Alexander Pierce, '13 MBA, serves on the board of the Arthritis Foundation.

Jamie Bichelman, '13 BA Psychology, has worked as a full-time communicator/public relations person for UNLV's department of police services for two years. Now he will be taking his career to new heights by pursuing a master's degree in communication studies at UNLV. He will begin his studies in August.

Leon Symanski, '87 BS Business Administration - Management, '94 Master of Public Administration, '01 JD, has been an attorney at Craig P. Kenny & Associates since 1997, practicing in the area of personal injury. He played for coach Jerry Tarkanian's Runnin' Rebels from 1984 - 1987. His hobbies include golf, basketball, horse racing, reading, and live music. He is married to Lisa Gentile Symanski, '97 BA Communications.    

Matthew A. Cooney, '09 BA Spanish for the Professions, recently completed his Ph.D. in higher education administration from Bowling Green State University. He has accepted a position at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois, as a research analyst focusing upon student success initiatives. He lives in Orland Park.
