Howard Watts III, '11 BA Political Science, has announced his candidacy for the Nevada Assembly. He is running as a Democrat to represent District 15, which covers an area just north and east of the university. After three years of solo freelance consulting, he also started a small public relations firm. His record of public service includes a stint on an advisory committee for the Las Vegas Valley Water District, appointment to the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife, volunteering for Camp Anytown Las Vegas, and sitting on the board of the Nevada chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers. His hobbies include outdoors activities such as hiking, camping, and backpacking.

Cariela Santana, '13 BS Business Administration - International Business and BS Business Administration -Marketing, is part of the corporate sponsorship team at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts as well as a freelance brand marketing consultant. She serves on two non-profit boards, including Nevada DECA and the American Advertising Federation where she holds positions as board chair and Ad 2 Las Vegas president, respectively. She describes herself as a strategy-driven, detail-oriented professional with a burning passion for human interaction, igniting creative ideas, and promoting growth among individuals. Dominican-born and Las Vegas-grown, she emigrated to the United States at a very young age and is a proud Nevadan. She is an avid traveler and live entertainment enthusiast who loves all things art-inspired and creative.

Marlen Ibarra, '17 BA Psychology, is a research assistant at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health - Cleveland Clinic. She plans to apply to graduate school in a few years.

Jessica Christy Simpson, '12 BS Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, is the operations manager at Linx Technologies , a leading developer and manufacturer in wireless modules, antennas, and connectors, in Merlin, Oregon. She lives in Gold Hill.

Angela Hutchinson Roberts, '06 BS Hotel Administration, is regional director of operations and sales for NewcrestImage, which owns and operates a variety of different brands throughout the United States. She enjoys spending free time hanging out with friends and family, golfing, and traveling. She lives in Lewisville, Texas.  

Reyna Pingul, '16 BA English, is working toward her master of fine arts in writing degree at the University of San Francisco. She also is a volunteer copywriter for the Harry Potter Alliance as well as freelance copywriter for various businesses. She lives in Richmond.

Serena S. Mull, '98 BS Biology, retired from the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center Dental Clinic in McMinnville, Oregon, last June. She lives in Portland.

Timothy E. Revero, '16 JD, '17 Master of Laws - Gaming Law and Regulation, is an attorney at the Richard Harris Law Firm specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and slip-and-fall cases.

Abbi Silver, '86 BA Political Science, was elected to the Nevada Supreme Court in 2018. In January 2017, the court appointed her to the Nevada Standing Committee on Judicial Ethics. That same year, before joining the Supreme Court, then-Gov. Brian Sandoval swore her in as the first female chief judge of the inaugural Court of Appeals of Nevada. She has been practicing law for 30 years and has served as a judge for more than 16 years. She has been elected to the bench six times and is the only judge in the history of Nevada to have served at every level of the court system. She earned her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1989.   

Lisa Levine Rubin, '12  PhD Educational Leadership, is an assistant professor of student services in intercollegiate athletics at Kansas State University. She was awarded the 2018 NCAA Innovations in Research and Practice Grant as principal investigator of the study "Enhancing Financial Literacy Among Student-Athletes." She also was named one of the Top 25 Women in Higher Education and Beyond by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education in 2017. She lives in Manhattan, Kansas.

Aaron S. Manfredi, '05 BA Criminal Justice, '14 Master of Public Administration, is the founder/executive director of Asperger's Training, Employment & Life Skills. He's placed 163 adults with autism and other high-functioning disabilities into competitive employment. He is a former Clark County juvenile probation officer and Clark County School District middle school teacher/varsity football coach. The Desert Storm veteran also is a community advocate for at-risk youth, homeless youth, autism, and homeless veterans. He is running for the office of Clark County public administrator. His hobbies include adult softball, cooking, traveling, advocating, and attending UNLV sports games. He is the father of one adult son, Bailey Manfredi.  

Chynna Greene, '14 BA Journalism and Media Studies, is a reporter and anchor at the CBS affiliate Local 8 News WLVT in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was awarded an Emmy and an Associated Press award for her roll in reporting during the Gatlinburg wildfires that took place in November 2016 in East Tennessee.
