Project Description

The primary objective of this study is to develop 3D metal/composite printing technology for fixing railway surface damage on site, which includes: (1) Mobile 3D printer system design; (2) Rapid surface cleaning of rail track; (3) 3D printing rail track surface on site; and (4) Trueing surface to achieve precise dimension and surface finish.
