Facilities management students in the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration will teach children at Paradise Elementary School about the importance of recycling on April 26.
The event, which is scheduled for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., is for 175 children in first and second grades.
The UNLV students will teach the children how to make paper from recycled materials and how to properly sort recyclable items. The children will also decorate individual recycling bins for their classrooms and participate in recycling-themed games.
