Northern Nevada students who want to learn more about UNLV will have the opportunity at two events scheduled to take place next month in Reno.
On Nov. 3 and 4, UNLV will have an information booth set up at the Annual Reno College Fair from 2 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
The booth, which will be set up in the Lawlor Events Center, will be staffed by UNLV personnel who can answer questions about the programs UNLV has to offer and about the admissions process. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, student services, the various academic colleges, and the Honors College will be available to talk with prospective students.
For additional information on this event, call (702) 895-3443.
Then on Nov. 6, UNLV President Carol C. Harter will host a reception for high school seniors and their parents interested in learning more about UNLV.
The reception will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Reno Hilton.
In addition to welcoming remarks by Harter, information will be presented on the Honors College, admissions, financial aid, and campus life. Also, a panel of UNLV students are scheduled to talk about what UNLV has to offer a student. Refreshments will be served.
