Stan Ross, managing partner of E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, will speak at UNLV on May 20 as part of the Howard Hughes Corporation Distinguished Speaker Series.
Ross is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. in Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. The event is free, but tickets are required. Tickets may be picked up beginning May 5 at the Performing Arts Center box office at Ham Concert Hall.
Ross, who also is vice chairman of Real Estate Industry Services for Ernst & Young LLP, is widely recognized for his experience in significant reorganization, restructure and bankruptcy engagements, including both real estate and non-real-estate organizations, banks, and real estate investment trusts.
He also is recognized as the architect of the multi-builder mortgage-backed bond, an important financing tool, and is currently active in the securitization of real estate portfolios.
A certified public accountant, Ross has written numerous articles concerning real estate and accounting-related matters.
The Howard Hughes Corporation Distinguished Speaker Series is sponsored by the Howard Hughes Corp. in conjunction with UNLV's Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies. The series in intended to bring nationally recognized speakers to the UNLV campus for the benefit of students, faculty, and members of the real estate community.
