Students in UNLV's Greenspun College of Urban Affairs can now apply for $25,000 in new scholarships for the 1997-98 academic year.
Eligible students must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate students, and must be accepted as pre-majors, majors, or graduate students in counseling, communication studies, criminal justice, environmental studies, leisure studies, or social work. They must also hold a 3.5 minimum grade point average and maintain full-time status for the 1997-98 academic year.
Students must submit an application form, transcripts, a one-page statement of goals, and a UNLV scholarship and grant-in-aid application to the dean's office of the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs by May 23. Application forms and instructions are available in the dean's office, McDermott Physical Education Center, Room 100.
