Dozens of people from around the nation and abroad will converge on UNLV in early August for the fifth annual "New Avenues in Crisis Management" conference.
Designed to provide crisis managers, human resources personnel, public relations officers, and senior executives with information on how best to handle a wide range of potential crises, the conference will take place on the UNLV campus Aug. 8 and 9.
The conference, which is open to anyone interested in learning more about crisis management, costs $295 per person. To register, call the Nevada Small Business Development Center at UNLV at 895-0852.

* "Managing the Stalking of Employees and Executives"
* "Revisiting the Tylenol and Exxon Crises: What Went Wrong?"
