Less than two weeks after an unthinkable tragedy struck UNLV’s campus, the university held two winter commencement ceremonies Tuesday.

UNLV's winter commencement just wrapped up at the Thomas & Mack Center. This comes as the community continues to reel from the mass shooting there on campus on Dec. 6.

The celebration of these graduation ceremonies has been overshadowed by the deadly shooting on December 6, which claimed the lives of three professors at this university and left one person in critical condition.
