Dr. Jaineet Chhabra (Medicine) will be doing a lecture at the Far West Athletic Trainers' Association (FWATA) Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium occurring from April 16-19, 2025. His lecture will be on his proposal, "The Coupling of Cardiovascular and Musculoskeletal Biomechanics: Advancing Sports Biodesign and Injury Prevention.”
Dr. Brandon Eddy (Medicine) has been named a recipient of the UNLV Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award. Members of the selection committee were impressed with his exemplary efforts in the classroom. Dr. Eddy will receive a $5,000 stipend and be recognized at the 2025 Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony to be held in spring.
