Sidath Kapukotuwa, Anita Chatterjee, Laurencia Bonsu, and Manoj Sharma (all Social and Behavioral Health) presented two papers titled, "Explaining the correlates of problem gambling behavior based on the multi-theory model (MTM) of health behavior change among college students: A cross-sectional study," and, "A phenomenological study based on the multi-theory model of health behavior change to identify factors and ways to design interventions for quitting gambling among older adults," at the in Las Vegas on March 24, 2023.
The first paper was a quantitative study that supported the use of MTM for designing interventions to address the problem gambling behavior among college students while the second one was a qualitative study that identified MTM-related factors to design interventions to address problem gambling among older adults. Kapukotuwa, Chatterjee, and Bonsu are graduate students.
