Ozgur Ozdemir (Hospitality), Ezgi Erkmen (Bogazici University), and Wenjia Han (Purdue University Fort Wayne) have published a recent article titled, "EPU and financial performance in the hospitality and tourism industry: Moderating effect of CSR, institutional ownership and cash holding," in Tourism Management. This study examines the performance of hospitality and tourism companies at times of increasing policy-related economic uncertainty (EPU); and the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) engagement, institutional ownership, and cash holding to ease the impact of uncertainty on financial performance.
