Dr. Neamat Hassan (Dental) accepted an invitation to join the Western Region's Practitioner Advisory Committee (PAC), which assists the Western Region National Dental Practice-Based Research Network. Nearly 7,500 U.S. and internationally-based dental practitioners, office staff, and researchers are members of the Western Region . Although principally dedicated to the oral health care of patients, the network’s members investigate research questions with practical impact on the quality of dental care.
As a PAC member, Hassan will help guide the activities and identify the research priorities for the Western Region, which comprises 14 states and territories, and inform the network's research agenda. She committed to a two-year term and can opt to serve consecutive terms.
