Maria B. Roberts (Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education) was elected to the executive board for the International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership (ICPEL). Roberts will serve in this capacity for a three-year term from 2023 through the 2026 academic year.
Established in 1947, the ICPEL is the oldest organization in the United States representing professors of educational leadership. ICPEL is committed to serving the interests and needs of professors of educational leadership and practicing school leaders. ICPEL works through the National Policy Board for Educational Administration to continually update the school leader standards for use by CAEP (and states) across the country for accreditation purposes.
