Krystal Kittle (Public Health) received notice of a three-year Alzheimer's Association Research Fellowship award for $175,000. Jason Flatt (Social & Behavioral Health) and Sheniz Moonie (Epidemiology & Biostatistics) serve as her mentor and co-mentor on the grant. The goals of this grant are to characterize the caregiving experiences of racial/ethnically diverse LGBTQ+ Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD) caregivers and identify biopsychosocial factors associated with caregiver health.
Kittle, a postdoctoral research scholar, also received a $25,000 grant to explore the needs of Hispanic/Latino LGBTQ+ ADRD caregivers.
