Kelsey Matthews (Public Health) was appointed to the Mary Christie Institute's (MCI) inaugural . The council consists of college students and recent graduates who have demonstrated dedication to mental health advocacy and helping improve institutional support for student and mental health. As council members, they will be discussing issues in college student wellbeing, providing critical input to support MCI's mission to educate, inform, and inspire colleges and universities to create cultures of wellbeing.
The council will support MCI's efforts to improve institutional support for student mental health through resources on campus and through culture and learning approaches. The Council is responsible for providing ideas and advice to Institute leaders, ensuring that student perspectives are incorporated into its publications, communication channels, and other programming.
