Katherine Feather (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) co-authored an article, in the Journal of Child and Adolescent Counseling along with Wesley P. Patterson of Northern Arizona University.
The authors reviewed the current, empirically-based literature on the effects of social networking site use among adolescents within the context of the Indivisible Self Model of Wellness and explain how physical and mental health issues could negatively influence adolescent wellness. Implications for counseling practice among adolescents and future directions for research are also discussed.
