This study highlights Asian American students’ different socio-demographic circumstances such as ethnicity, immigrant status, and socioeconomic status impact students’ help-seeking patterns in schools. Another significant finding of this study is that Asian American student who face higher levels of academic risk are likely to be invisible in schools and are thereby less likely to utilize school counseling.
