Faculty and students from the department of early childhood, multilingual, and special education presented, "Demystifying Disability: Continuing the Legacy of Mister Rogers for Inclusive Early Childhood Education," at the Work of Fred Rogers: A Conference on His Context and Legacy at the Fred Rogers Institute. Jenna Weglarz-Ward, associate professor; Turia Penkalski, doctoral student; and Courtney O'Grady, assistant professor at University of Alabama, shared research findings and facilitated discussion with scholars from across the world on early childhood special education.
