Jeffrey Ebersole (Dental) accepted an invitation to speak during and serve as session chair for the American Association for Dental Research Fall Focused Symposium, Integrating Omic Datasets Towards Translation.” He presented "Gingival Transcriptomic Patterns using a Nonhuman Primate Matriline Model of Periodontitis," and chaired the closing session "Exploring NIDCR Goals and Future Initiatives, which was presented by Dr. Lillian Shum, director of Division of Extramural Research at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research.
He also accepted an invitation to speak during the bi-monthly research seminar series at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, which strives to disseminate research findings on emerging as well as long-standing issues in oral health. He presented, "Aging and Periodontitis: Immunosenescence/Inflammaging & the Oral Microbiome."
