Emylia Terry (Public Health) received a $3,000 research stipend award from UNLV's International Gaming Institute and the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling for her research on problem gambling among sexual and gender minorities and its impact on housing and food security. Her research project is in conjunction with professors Jennifer Pharr, Jason Flatt, and Krystal Kittles' (all Public Health) community needs assessment of the LGBTQ+ population in Southern Nevada.
