Dr. Christina Demopoulos, Dr. Flora Phipps, Dr. Marcia Ditmyer, and Dr. Lily T. Garcia (all Dental) accepted invitations to speak during the 2020 Nevada Public Health Association Annual (Virtual) Conference, which was themed Creating the Healthiest Nevada: Putting Prevention into Practice. Dr. Demopoulos presented “Putting Teeth into Early Childhood Education: A Community Collaborative Prevention Model.” Dr. Phipps, Dr. Ditmyer, and Dr. Garcia presented "Continuity of Clinical Dental Education and Patient Care During a Covid-19 Pandemic: Unexpected Consequences and Future Directions."
