Dr. Christina Demopoulos and Melissa Argueta (both Dental) received the 2019-20 “Outstanding Community Partner” award from Acelero Learning for their continued commitment and advocacy to children, families, and Acelero Learning Clark County Head Start programs. Demopoulos is leading an early childhood caries prevention project designed to reduce the incidence of childhood cavities among children enrolled in 68 federally funded Early Head Start and Head Start Centers throughout Nevada. Argueta is a member of the project's team. Acelero leaders said Demopoulos has become an integral part of their learning centers and programs throughout Nevada.
