Dr. Christina Demopoulos (Dental) received the “Outstanding Community Partner” award from Acelero Learning for her continued commitment and advocacy to children, families, and Acelero Learning Clark County Head Start programs. She is leading an early childhood caries prevention project sponsored by Oral Health America that is designed to reduce the incidence of childhood cavities among children enrolled in 68 federally funded Early Head Start and Head Start Centers throughout Nevada. Acelero leaders said Dr. Demopoulos has become an integral part of their learning centers and programs throughout Nevada.
