​Billy Bai and Huiying Zhang (both Hospitality), together with doctoral student Xi Yu Leung are authors of "A Case Study of DMO's Response to COVID-19 Pandemic in Los Angeles," which explores destination stakeholder collaboration amid COVID-19 with the evidence from Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board. This case study won third place in the 2021 I-CHRIE FutureFund Case Study Competition. The authors also presented at the 2021 Annual International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education Conference held virtually July 26-30.
