Description
Shelbi Schroeder, MFA Thesis Exhibition
Schroeder makes work about notions of purity and corruption in normative sexuality. Using her body as a tool, she intervenes in daily female performance rituals. While using various mediums such as photography, wallpaper and performance, her concept remains consistent, providing an expression of female sexuality through decorative forms. Each process is indicative of the relationship between female and the material; women as wallpaper, women as photo, women as performance.
