Are you interested in teaching science or math in a 6th-12th grade classroom? If so, the might be for you!
The program is currently recruiting sophomore/junior-level students who are interested in becoming STEM teachers starting in Spring 2024. The deadline to apply is Friday, Sept. 29.
The goal of the program is to prepare culturally competent science and math teachers. The team will prepare a new cadre of eight undergraduate STEM students per year, resulting in 24 new science and math teachers who are highly qualified and culturally competent in five years. Each scholar will be supported with scholarships of $10,000 per year for up to three years. As a Noyce Scholar, you commit to teaching for two years per year of scholarship in a high-needs school district after graduation.
